McLaren 650S Limited Edition unveiled

  • McLaren Special Operations (MSO) has taken the wraps off the 650S Limited Edition. As the name suggests, the MSO is a special wing of McLaren, and is in charge of developing special editions, limited editions or other unique models. This 650S Limited Edition commemorates the 20th anniversary of the McLaren F1 GTR acing the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
  • McLaren has made no changes to the car’s engine, which means, the heart of the 650S Limited Edition is still the 641bhp 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 motor. This helps it go from 0-100kph in a claimed three seconds. What has changed in this limited edition, though, is that it draws inspiration from the race-winning Chassis #01 F1, which gives it a roof snorkel and fender-vents at the front.
  • The 650S Limited Edition also gets newly designed forged alloys, orange brake calipers, carbon fiber splitter, rear bumper and rear diffusor. It wears an MSO-special dark blue paint.
  • Production of this McLaren 650S will be limited to 50 units only, with all of them being coupes.
