2015 Aprilia Tuono V4 R APRC ABS revealed

• Aprilia has revealed the 2015 version of the Aprilia Tuono V4 R APRC ABS. The Aprilia Tuono is the street bike version of the flagship V4 superbike and for 2015 the Italian two-wheeler manufacturer has updated the bike mostly on the mechanical front. The biggest change is the hike in the power output; the 2015 Aprilia Tuono V4 R APRC ABS produces peak power of 170PS from a 999.6cc motor, which is an increase of 3PS over its predecessor alongwith marginal improvement in torque figures. The Aprilia Tuono also receives a Racing ABS system with three different settings with an option of completely disengaging it. 

• The new offering also gets equipped with Track, Sport and Road modes alongwith the Aprilia Performance Ride Control (APRC) system with eight levels of traction control, three-way wheelie control, launch control and a quickshifter. So one thing is for sure that the electronic nanny would prevent the rider from falling into a tricky situation. Suspension duties are taken care of by Sachs sourced suspension system while braking is done via Brembo disc brakes with radial-mounted calipers. 

• The 2015 Aprilia Tuono V4 R APRC ABS will be available in two colour options - Matte White and Matte Black. The new offering has been priced at Rs 8.83 lakh in the US market. It is expected that the 2015 Aprilia Tuono V4 R APRC ABS will be offered in our market via the CKD route and will compete the BMW S1000R and Kawasaki Z1000 in our two-wheeler market.
