- Following are the cars slated to make a debut at the upcoming Paris motor show on October 4.
Audi TT Roadster
Audi will unveil the TT Roadster at the Paris Motor Show. It is based on the MQB platform and gets four-cylinder turbocharged petrol and diesel engines.
Facelifted Audi A6 and S6
This will be the public debut for the recently revealed Audis. They come with more frugal engines now.
Audi RS3
Audi will unveil the Mercedes A45 AMG and BMW M235i rivalling RS3 at Paris. It is likely to get a 355bhp 2.5-litre petrol engine.
BMW X6
The second generation BMW X6, which was supposed to be seen at the Moscow Motor Show in August, will be seen at Paris.
Citroen Divine DS Concept
Designed to show the future styling of the DS brand, the Divine DS concept will debut at the Paris show. The concept does not indicate to any particular future model.
Fiat 500X
The 500X will get MultiJet diesel and TwinAir petrol engines. Will sit alongside the 500L MPV.
Honda Civic facelift
A refreshed version of the European-specced Civic hatchback will be debuting at the Paris motor show.
Hyundai i20 (European version)
This is the European version of what is being sold in India as the Elite i20. It gets additions like projector headlamps and a sunroof.
Hyundai i20 Coupe
The three-door version of the second-generation i20 will break cover at Paris.
Infiniti Q80 Concept
Teasers have been around; now Infiniti will unveil the flagship Q80 in concept form at the Paris motor show.
Jaguar XE
A key model for Jaguar, the new XE is based on an all-new aluminium platform and gets the new range of Ingenium engines. It takes on the BMW 3-series, Volvo S60 and the Mercedes C-class.
Land Rover Discovery Sport
Land Rover will unveil the Discovery Sport at the Paris show. It is the firm’s replacement for the Freelander 2.
Mazda MX-5 Miata
The successor to the iconic Mazda MX-5 will be shown at Paris. It is based on an aluminium platform and draws power from Mazda’s SKYACTIV range of engines.
Mercedes-Benz S500 Plug-in
The ‘Best car in the world’ now gets a production-ready hybrid version. The S500 Plug-in does a 0-100kph in 5.2 seconds.
Mercedes C63 AMG
The AMG-bred version of the new C-class will be unveiled in Paris. It gets a new 4.0-litre V8 Bi-Turbo engine that makes around 500bhp.
Mercedes AMG-GT
Successor to the legendary SLS AMG, the AMG GT uses the same engine as the C63; a new 4.0-litre V8 engine.
Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV Concept-S
The Japanese SUV concept gets a plug-in hybrid drivetrain. Debut confirmed for Paris.
Peugeot Exalt concept
A revised version of the Exalt concept will debut at the Paris motor show 2014.
Porsche Cayenne facelift
One of Porsche’s most sought-after SUV gets a facelift. It will be seen at the Paris motor show this October.
New Skoda Fabia
The new Fabia was revealed recently for international markets; Skoda says the new Fabia will have its world premiere at Paris. It gets cosmetic changes inside and out and updated engines.
Smart ForTwo and ForFour
Mercedes-owned Smart revealed the new ForTwo and ForFour earlier this year Paris motor show will be their official public debut.
Suzuki Vitara
It is based on the iV-4 concept shown at Frankfurt motor show 2013. The Vitara is built on an all-new platform, which is expected to underpin a number of future vehicles.
VW Passat
The eighth-generation Passat which was revealed earlier this year will make its debut at the Paris motor show. Based on the MQB platform, it weighs lesser than the outgoing model and comes with reworked engines.
Volvo XC90
The second generation XC90 has been revealed recently and will premiere at the Paris motor show in October.
