Fiat 500X crossover gets early debut in leaked picture
- First published on an Italian forum and since circulated online, the image appears to show a production-ready version of the Italian firm's Nissan Juke rival.
- The 500X will make its public debut at the Paris motor show next month, and has previously been teased in a short video.
- Destined to complete the current 500 family line-up, the 500X will sit alongside the 500L MPV.

- In the same vein as the more masculine Fiat 500L Trekking, it's thought the model shown here is a more off-road inspired version. A pared-down urban-based car is also understood to be part of the launch range.
- This picture shows the 500X gets the same retro-inspired styling as the rest of the 500 family, but also includes a more prominent front-end grille design, with chrome trim used around the front bumper. Tinted windows, roof rails and a boot-mounted lip spoiler can also be seen.
- The sister car to Jeep's Renegade, the 500X will be built at Fiat's Melfi factory in Italy. The car sits on a modified version of the SCCS platform that underpins the Fiat Punto and Vauxhall Corsa. Its wheelbase is understood to be around 4200mm.
- Engine options have yet to be confirmed but are likely to comprise Fiat MultiJet diesel and TwinAir petrol engines. Both the Fiat and the Jeep will play a vital part in Fiat Chrysler Automobile's plans to deliver on its "volume aspirations".
- The Fiat 500X is expected to be launched in the UK in the first quarter of 2015.
